1. Special/favorite moment of your day?
A special moment for me the day of was getting to have the wedding bands and other jewelry from important women in my life that weren’t able to be apart of my day – two of my great-grandmothers, two of my grandmothers, and my aunt.

2. Favorite Moment of Day?
My favorite moment of the day was our first dance – we chose a song that really spoke to us and it was also the first surreal moment of the day for me that made me go “oh my gosh we’re married!”.
3. Best memory of the day?
Best memory of the day was walking down the aisle and seeing all of our family and friends and then looking up and seeing Jake at the end of the aisle crying and smiling.

4. Wedding Theme – Color
Blushy pinks and emerald green
5. Why did you choose the dress you picked?
I chose the dress I did because of how comfortable I felt in it and how light it was. I knew going into my dress appointment that I didn’t want something heavy or too “over the top” but still something with a little bit of sparkle and spice and I felt like my dress hit all of those marks!

6. A few sentences about your wedding?
Our wedding was everything I ever dreamed of and more! Despite it pouring rain majority of the weekend and all morning, it cleared up just in time for our outdoor ceremony and I got to still get married outside right on the water like I’ve always wanted. It truly was surreal to be surrounded by so many people who have not only watched our love story but also who support us and love us – and you could feel it the entire day and evening.

7. How did you and your groom meet?
We had always ran in the same circles, but June 2020 we had a couple mutual friends invite us over for a get-to-together and we immediately hit it off. We had our first official date about a week later and we’ve been inseparable ever since!
8. How did your groom propose?
In May 2025, we went to Myrtle Beach on a friend group trip and about halfway through the week, we decided to take pictures on the beach. In the middle of taking the girl pics, Jake came up behind me and got down on one knee without me knowing until I turned around and he proposed.

9. Advice to bride planning her wedding.
A couple words of advice…
The planning goes by SO fast – so many people told me this and I don’t think I truly realized it. Planning is stressful – to say the least – but seriously try to soak it ALL in! It can be really hard but reminding yourself to take a step back and try to fully enjoy the whole process.
My mom always told me “Weddings, babies, and funerals will always show you people’s true colors” and I unfortunately found that to be true BUT I refused to allow it to ruin our day. The people that love you and support you will always outshine any negativeness, and at the end of the day it is still going to be a beautiful celebration of you and your partner’s love no matter what.

10. What was your favorite part/thing/experience about shopping with Serendipity?
I loved how comfortable and special the staff made me feel throughout my entire experience! They made the entire process – trying on dresses, purchasing, alterations, and pick up/drop off – so easy. It was ultimately one less thing I really had to stress/worry about amongst all of the other to-do wedding items which was so nice.
