Q: Special/favorite moment of your day?

A: The moment we said "I do" and officially became husband and wife, surrounded by all the people we love most!

Q: Favorite Moment of Day?

A: During our reception, Joel and I took some time to go down to our venue's waterfront to have sunset pictures taken. It was so peaceful and gave us a chance to step away from all of the excitement of the day and savor the moment.

Q: Best memory of day?

A: Walking down the aisle to Joel.

Q: Wedding Theme

A: Color - Light purple, ivory, & gold

Q: Why you chose the dress you picked?

A: I chose Maggie Sottero's Greer dress. It ended up being the only dress I tried on! I loved the intricate beading, and how it was glamorous yet also timeless. It made me feel beautiful and confident.

Q: A few sentences about your wedding?

A: We had a traditional Catholic wedding mass in our venue's chapel, followed by a reception in the mansion next door. Our reception had delicious food, dancing, and a dessert room featuring all kinds of cakes (satisfying our sweet tooth!). We had so much fun celebrating with our friends and family!

Q: How did you and your groom meet?

A: Joel and I met when we were both living in DC. We knew of each other from being in the same professional circle, and one night (unbeknownst to one another) we ended up both attending a professional gala where we bumped into each other and ended up talking until 2 am!

Q: How did your groom propose?

A: After seeing how interested I was in the Royal Wedding, Joel planned a trip for us to London. He took me to a romantic dinner overlooking the city and then we went on a post-dinner walk ending at Westminster Abbey, where he proposed.

Q: Advice to bride planning her wedding.

A: Wedding planning can be overwhelming at times because there are so many details, but try not to let the stress of the planning process get to you. Have fun with it and treat it as a great memory that you and your fiance will look back on as you prepare for the start of your lives together.

Q: What favorite part/thing/experience about shopping with Serendipity?

A: The staff are so kind and helpful! From the moment I walked into Serendipity, they treated me like I was part of the family. They made my shopping experience fun and special, and they really brought my vision to life.
