1. Special/favorite moment of your day?
Having my first look with both my husband and my dog!
2. Favorite Moment of Day?
Getting to relax alone with my husband during cocktail hour. We ate our appetizers and relaxed in the air conditioning after a quick photo session. It was the perfect pause to recharge before entering at dinner. 
3. Best memory of the day?
There were lantern flies everywhere. They have officially become a part of the lore of our wedding.

5. Why did you choose the dress you picked?
I loved how it showed off my body. I wasn't expecting to like a mermaid style, as I thought it might be too much, but it ended up being the classic look I was searching for. I also loved the built-in support; I never felt like it was going to shift or fall down.
6. A few sentences about your wedding?
We chose our wedding date because it was my parents' 40th wedding anniversary. We spent the day surrounded by people we love and made sure everyone brought great vibes.
7. How did you and your groom meet?
We met in college choir, but didn't start dating until five years after graduation.
8. How did your groom propose?
We both sing with the Cathedral Choral Society. Nick proposed after one of our concerts at the National Cathedral in front of the entire audience.
9. Advice to bride planning her wedding:
Do not let anyone tell you what "should" be a part of your day or your planning process. Do what you and your partner want to do and nothing more.
10. What was your favorite part/thing/experience about shopping with Serendipity?
Serendipity allowed me to explore what I was comfortable with. There was no pressure to try anything I did not want or could not afford. We explored and laughed together, and overall had a great time.
