1. Special/favorite moment of your day? My favorite moment of the day was walking down the aisle seeing the love of my life and the tears filled in his eyes. The way he was just looking at me I knew I was walking towards the Mr. Right. That to me feels utterly amazing to know I get to spend forever with his loving man.

2. Best memory of the day?
Hands down best memory would have to be just the entire day itself. From the beautiful venue to the loving new husband and our family and friends being there what could I love more. To revisit each and every time I go back to think of our special day it’s a wonderful memory!

3. Wedding Theme - Color

I’m a beach lover and had it at a ocean venue. This color is also my favorite, so we had to go with Teal. The bridal parties dresses color was officially called Oasis.

4. Why did you choose the dress you picked?
Well to start I’ve tried in a few dresses at a few different bridal shops. My plan was to stay on the cheaper side but it’s your special day so you love what you love and the moment I put on that beauty it was end game. When trying on dresses you look for uniqueness, elegant and the way it fits to your body. I tried this dress on about three times. You can never be too sure but this dress gave me butterflies. The train was long like I’d been searching for. The detail was exquisite and I’ve never seen a dress like it. My entourage of course supported whatever made me happy but I knew it was the dress for me. You always have hard decisions deciding do I want this ball gown or a line, etc. I pretty much had my heart set on mermaid/aline and I’m sure glad I did because this dress was everything I could’ve dreamed for and more. Also my husband quite loved it too!

5. A few sentences about your wedding?
The perfect wedding for the perfect couple. We were able to plan and budget during this crazy time and still managed to make it wonderful and memorable. We can’t think our family and friends enough for coming to celebrate our love. We loved being a smaller wedding it was more intimate.

6. How did you and your groom meet?
I always love to tell this story. Funny thing is his older sister use to babysit me when I was younger. We are 5 years apart and being 10 clearly I couldn’t be with a 15 year old. He would always play football in my front yard with his friends and I would just dream about a future with him. Some years later when I was old enough to date him he showed interest and unfortunately I wasn’t available. A few years pass and here we are again talking and ended up dating. Now I married my childhood crush what better love story is that.

7. How did your groom propose?
We went to take the dogs for a walk with his mom at Gilbert Run. I had no idea what was going on just thinking we were going for a nice walk. We end up walking to this dock and his mom suggest we take pictures. As we start taking pictures I turn around and there he is on one knee. I was so shocked and utterly speechless but so incredibly happy!

8. Advice to bride planning her wedding.
I planned most of the wedding myself from location to decor to setting up. It can be hard work and tiring for the bride to be. If people offer to help or you can afford a planner I would do it. You already have so much on your plate trying to make your day special. It’s your day enjoy it, in a blink of an eye the day is over with because it goes so fast. Enjoy each and every moment and don’t stress!

9. What favorite part/thing/experience about shopping with Serendipity?
I’ve heard so many good things about this shop. I was referred by one of my costumers and I’m so glad I listened to her. The place is fantastic, from the selection of dresses to the awesome employees it’s top notch. I am a size 14/16 and they were able to accommodate me and that makes a bride feel amazing. They actually listen to what you like and dislike. They try their very best to meet every box on your list. I can also say they put their customers first. It is off the record but I was there trying on my dress one last time to get the alterations set up and a tornado warning went off. The owner and her team made sure we were all safe and in a secure room. She even brought my dress with her to make sure it was protected in case of anything serious. I highly recommend Serendipity. You will find your dream dress there as I did! Thank you for including me into your family and making me feel special!
